  Things have skyrocketed for Melbourne’s riff rockers, Dallas Frasca since the release of their successful sophomore album (recorded in New York City with Australian producer Andy Baldwin), Sound Painter. As they get set to head to the U.K, Europe (just signing a record deal with successful French label, VERYCORD (Skunk Anansie, Triggerfinger) and Canada in March. They will bring their super charged, massive guitar riffs along the East Coast of Australia for the ‘Summer Assault’ tour in early January before they hit the International circuit in 2013.
  
  Slash (Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver) has even been cranking Dallas Frasca’s album in his tour van and recently tweeted, “Great vocals, riffs and groove”.
  
  After a 4 star review in the SMH, a personal endorsement from Slash, a third place in the International Songwriting Competition AAA category and an international career on the horizon, it's looking like the year of the Frasca.
  
  The Summer Assault tour will kick off at Woodford Folk Festival, and cover as many towns with special guests along the way.

• Many thanks to the folks at the Cornish Arms for putting their hands up and opening their doors to us in the wake of the Ding Dong Lounge fire/fiasco.  We're very much obliged, so we'll try and make it up to them by playing loud and fast and as long as our fingers can stand up.  Immediately following our set we pack up and head onwards for another lovely, scenic drive through the night back to Sydney for round 3 of our Town Hall residency.
